Last night, Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points as the Denver Nuggets evened their series with the Los Angeles Lakers with a 106-103 win in Game Two.

It was a tough loss, but Kobe Bryant and the Lake Show remain the #1 game in town. Here's Tom Cruise and son Connor Cruise at last night's game:

Rubina Ali, a child actress that starred in Slumdog Millionaire as a young version of Latikia, is reportedly for sale.

Yes, for sale.

The nine-year old's father, Rafiq Qureshi, told Great's Britain's News of the World that he listed his daughter for $300,000, a figure he increased after initially asking for just $75,000.

"I have to consider what's best for me, my family and Rubina's future," said Rubina's dad, who claims to be broke.

Rubina Ali is actually for sale. Hear that, Madonna?

This story has been confirmed by Reuters, as Deputy Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli told the news service:

"On Sunday, Rubina's mother Khurshid complained to us that her ex-husband was trying to sell her daughter, saying she saw some reports on television to that effect."

According to News of the World, Rubina's uncle confirmed the family upped the asking price following the success of Slumdog Millionaire. Disgustingly, he said:

"The child is special now. This is an Oscar child!"

As appalled as we are by this story, we can't help but ask: How much would you pay for Rubina Ali?

In an interview scheduled to air Monday on The Tyra Banks Show, teen baby daddy Levi Johnston admits that he and Bristol Palin were allowed to share a room at Sarah Palin's Alaska home even though she probably knew he was doing her daughter.

"I'm pretty sure she probably knew," says Johnston. "Moms are pretty smart."

Well, most of them are. This is ... forget it.

Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, 19 and 18 respectively, called off their fake engagement in March. They welcomed son Tripp Easton Mitchell on December 27.

The self-proclaimed redneck, who showed off his tattoo of Bristol's name on his ring finger - says they practiced safe sex "most of the time." That's a relief.

His sister, Mercede Johnston, also admitted on the program that their family was under gag order during Sarah Palin's campaign for the vice presidency.

That must have put a dent in ma Sherry Johnston's drug-dealing biz.

"We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign," Mercede said. "Other than that we had to say no comment."

Last month, Johnston said he needs to grow up before wedding Bristol Palin.

"It's just us not, me not being mature enough, or something, and having a kid and thinking ... it could be better for us to separate for a while," he said.

As for reconciling with Bristol, he said, "We'll see, we'll see how it is. We'll just remain friends for now. We're both cool with that decision, and we'll see."

Carrie Prejean has played the God card.

The Miss USA contestant - who has been all over the news for telling judge Perez Hilton that she believes marriage ought to be reserved for a man and woman - sat down with Fox News this week and actually said the ordeal is simply a test from God.

Right. She's a regular Jonah.

Here are a few excerpts from the fair and balanced interview:

On how she's feeling: Happy. This happened for a reason. By having to answer that question in front of a national audience, God was testing my character and faith. I'm glad I stayed true to myself.

On the question about gay marriage: I knew he was controversial, and so was the question. Out of all the topics I studied up on, I dreaded that one, I prayed I would not be asked about gay marriage. If I had any other question, I know I would have won.

On her response: I have no regrets about answering honestly. [Perez Hilton] asked me for my opinion and I gave it to him. I have nothing against gay people, and I didn't mean to offend anyone in my answer.

On her post-pageant activity: I ate my first hamburger in a long time!

So, to recap: Carrie Prejean took part in a beauty pageant, in order to be asked a question about gay marriage, to which she responded by denying homosexuals basic human rights, which simply proved her faith to God, but doesn't mean she has anything against gay people. And her reward, after starving herself for months, was a hamburger.

The teenage pregnancy and love affair that rocked last year's presidential race is over, at least according to unreliable celebrity news magazine Star.

That publication claims Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, 18, has officially ditched her white trash baby daddy, Levi Johnston, 19.

Levi's sister, Mercede Johnston - who is also referred to as Mercedes Johnston by some publications, and was the girl mistaken for Bristol in that classic batch of girl-on-girl and gun pics surfacing last summer - is Star's supposed source.

She says Levi's life in in Wasilla, Alaska, is far from pretty.

"Bristol's just crazy. That's the nicest way I can put it," Mercede said.

Bristol reportedly broke up with Levi Johnston more than a month ago, and is not attending school or letting her baby daddy see their young son.

According to Mercedes, Bristol Palin has almost completely cut Levi Johnston out of her life - and that of their two-month-old son, Tripp. No word on how Tripp's uncle Trig feels about all of this. Or about being named Trig.

"Levi tries to visit Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible," his sister allegedly said. "She tells him he can't take the baby to our house because she doesn't want him around 'white trash'! She treats him so badly!"

Worse yet, Mercede says, the former V.P. candidate backs Bristol's treatment of Levi. "I used to love Sarah," Mercede says. "But I've lost respect for her."

This implies she had some to begin with, which may be the most surprising thing in this piece. We just hope Bristol's teenage fornicating days aren't over.
